Do We Really Need Another Finance Blog?

In a world drowning in questionable financial advice—coming from tweets, toks, reels, and whatever they call it on Truth Social—do we really need another finance blog?
The answer we came to is a resounding "YES"
Thanks to the proliferation of “experts” leveraging AI-generated content and clickbait headlines, it's easy to get lost in the noise. Misleading information, veiled sales pitches, and outright inaccuracies make it nearly impossible to find reliable answers to even some of the most basic financial questions… let alone those with any degree of complexity.
We're not here to debunk everything you read or call out every knucklehead spewing nonsense (although, if it's particularly egregious, we won't hesitate). Our focus is to provide accurate, meaningful, and actionable insights for our audience.
But why should you listen to us?
Unlike so many of the “fin-fluencers,” we manage a real wealth planning and investment advisory business—complete with a real office, actual clients, and regulatory oversight by a governmental body.
Our founders boast the highest credentials in investing, accounting, and personal financial planning: the CFA®, CPA, and CFP®, respectively. And our team? With a combined 60 years of experience in accounting and finance, we've weathered more markets than we care to admit and helped more clients than we can even count.
Perhaps more importantly, we are fiduciaries. This means we have a legal obligation to prioritize our clients' interests, whether we are advising them individually or creating content for this blog.
So, what's next?
We're here to help you—the entrepreneur, business owner, and busy professional—make better financial decisions. We aren’t sure exactly where this blog will go, but we want to provide a place where you can learn, ask questions, and get sound advice that isn’t proffered by some clown who is unwittingly teaching techniques that will get you flagged for an audit, or worse, derail your whole financial plan.
Do we have biases? Clearly. Will our takeaways apply to everyone, all the time? Unlikely. But what we can promise is honesty and sincerity (and if Robert is writing, a touch of sarcasm). We'll strive to offer complete and accurate information, separating fact from opinion along the way.
In the end, our objective is to educate and inspire you to reach your financial goals faster, so you can live a more fulfilling life.
